confession of a severe procrastinator....

so today was the last day before folio hand in and what did i spend it doing?

watching an entire series of waterloo road, 

knowing that its 1.33 in the morning and i still have a ton of work to do before my deadline in 8 hours. ive realised that everything i ever do is a total half assed attempt and i never really put one hundred percent in.

im happy with just a pass and i dont really give a shit if i dont get A’s or whatever 

probably should give a shit.

….but im so fucking lazy

Havent posted in a while  but that may be due to my pending move to Newcastle, very scared about it but i think it will be fine, this feels so different from my move from edinburgh to dundee,  probably because its to another country ! just been going mad trying to sort out stuff for it, stressing loads cos ive got a big workload to do at uni before i can even think about it , on the plus side these photos were taken when i was down there last admiring the great array of shops ( vivienne westwood). youll understand if youve ever been to dundee that this calibre of shop is not readily available haha....see you on the flipside <3

The Dundream is coming to an end .......

So I am now finished first year! which is pretty crazy, been in dundee almost a year now and loved every minute of it. here are the final photos for my month long textile project based on punk and vintage.

I wanted to bring back super customisation in a way that people nowadays never really bother with. In the seventies people were more skilled on a sewing machine and actually gave a shit about not becoming a sheep in society and nipping into primark for convenience and getting whatever everyone else was getting that season. 

My skirt and shirt outfit was inspired by maggies farm in dundee and shiteshirts online and is made up of different panels of various fabrics and patterns.

This is the last design work I will do in Dundee……………Hello Newcastle !!

Finally , a topman collection that doesnt make men look like dick schoolboys.

The topman AAA camden '78 collction takes us back to the times of sid vicious, that guy from the sex pistols.
Thank god...Punk has been dead for too long and  its about time it gave the teddy boy some competition. plus the fact there is now the prospect of our men looking like the original rebellers..yumm.

These guys really know how to rework the tie dye look, Glasgow based vintage shop have a selection of fab band tees and colourful levis. lots of studs and leopard print !
